Series AS Air Scoops are used in commercial and residential, hydronic heating applications to separate air from water in the piping system. Series AS-B Bronze Air Separators are used in commercial and residential, hydronic heating applications to separate air from water in the piping system. It consists of a bronze body construction with tapings for a boiler-fill expansion tank, a 1/2 in. FV4-M1 float vent, and a 1/2 in. brass pipe plug. Series AS-B comes standard with 1/2 in. float vent. Available in AS-B-T (threaded connection) or AS-B-S (sweat connection). Series AS-B provides continuous purging and venting of air in the system when installed with Watts Series FV4-M1 float vent. Horizontal mount only. It is ideal for use in radiant heat systems. Series FV-4M1 has a high temperature rating and is ideal for use with glycol systems or for use as an anti-vacuum device. Series 144 Process Boiler Water Feeders are used in heating applications on pressing machines when feed through the float chamber is permissible. It has external water feed connections: a 1/2 in.
